Commercial Solar Chicago

Business Solar Solutions for The Prairie State

#1 Commercial Solar Company for Chicago Businesses

If you have a large commercial business building or facility based in Chicago Illinois, you’ve probably already researched solar panels for your business. The fact is, most solar programs could not provide a compelling case for the CFO to set aside a non core business expense with a 7 year return on investment. Luckily our program combined with the state’s SRECS, ComEd’s smart inverter rebate, and the federal tax credit create a investment opportunity unlike any other. The ComEd Rebate combined with the federal solar tax credit makes commercial solar power for businesses a no brainer using our proprietary model. ComEd also provides many attractive SRECs and rebates but these are capped and on a first come first serve basis.

No need to look for a local Chicago solar company , Solar One USA provides the best option for your business. Call us now so we may develop a solar proposal for you detailing the magic of our program and how much your company could save by year one.

Proprietary Energy Savings Payment Model

The Energy Savings Payment Model (ESP) is unique to Solar One. This model combines benefits from each traditional solar model into a revolutionary hybrid model where the client receives the tax advantages, minimizes the upfront expense, increases the property value, and receives instant energy savings. As the client receives energy savings, Solar One shares in a percentage of those savings to help pay down the system’s cost. Solar One assumes all risk and maintains the system for free until the system is paid off.

  • Creates positive cash flow from Day 1.
  • No upfront expense, simply pass along the equal value of the tax benefits you would have otherwise paid the Federal government.
  • You own outright and don’t share profits with a bank.
  • Free maintenance until the system is paid off.
  • Solar equipment increases the value of your company assets.
  • No risk of performance; if it doesn’t produce electricity, you don’t share savings.
  • In the event you sell your facility, Solar One contract is freely assignable.

New Round of 2021 Illinois Solar Incentives

Illinois has passed a historic clean energy bill mandating 100% renewable energy by 2050. The Prairie state’s new legislation allocates $500 million in subsidies to the Illinois wind and solar industries. Before this, solar projects across the state were at a complete standstill due to funding running out.

The subsidies are a 350% increase on investments made on solar in the state. This presents a significant savings opportunities for IL businesses looking to own their own solar array.

Fox Illinois writes:

She says the small distributed generation category has been expanded to include 10kW to 25kW, which means high consuming residential properties and small commercial businesses will now receive the best subsidy pricing and a better payout schedule for selling back to the grid. Knox explains that before the energy bill, payments were given out over a five-year period as quarterly payments, but now they’ll be given in one lump sum for 10kW to 25kW projects.

About Chicago

Located along the southwestern shore of the largest freshwater lake, Lake Michigan, Chicago was incorporated in 1837 between the Great Lakes and the Mississippi River and saw rapid growth in the mid-19th century. After the Great Chicago Fire of 1871, which destroyed several square miles and left more than 100,000 homeless, the city rebuilt. The construction boom accelerated population growth throughout the following decades, and by 1900, less than 30 years after the great fire, Chicago was the fifth-largest city in the world. Chicago is known for its Chicago School of Architecture, the development of the City Beautiful Movement, and the steel-framed skyscraper. Chicago is also a prominent center of the Polish Cathedral style of church architecture. The Chicago suburb of Oak Park was home to famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright, who had designed The Robie House located near the University of Chicago.
